Seamless Connections is looking for friendly, helpful people who want to participate in our mission and make a difference within our communities. Our goal is to provide the utmost support for individuals experiencing homelessness, and victims of abuse and neglect. Please view the list below to see which areas you can volunteer in:

CLERICAL

This volunteer will be requested to assist in the following matters:

• Must be able to comply with the requirements of Client Confidentiality Policy of Seamless Connections.
• Assist clients with completing intake paperwork.
• Assist with answering incoming telephone calls.
• Assist with setting up appointments for new and returning clients.
• Assist with processing incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
• Maintain visitor logs.
• Assist with disseminating promotional and marketing materials.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft software and programs.
• Able to operate general office equipment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of social media platforms.

OUTREACH

This volunteer will be requested to assist in the following matters:

• Must be able to comply with the requirements of Client Confidentiality Policy of Seamless Connections.
• Knowledge of community organizations serving persons experiencing homelessness.
• Knowledge of community organizations serving persons who are victims of abuse and neglect.
• Assist in marketing and promotional events for Seamless Connections through in-person, on-site and virtual venues.
• Willing to attend community and civic events to provide promotional and marketing materials for Seamless Connections.
• Assist in organizing and implementing awareness programs for Seamless Connections.
• Participate in the Independent Task Force on Homelessness (ITFOH) awareness and advocacy programs and initiatives.
• Assist in compilation and dissemination of resource packets for Survivors of Domestic Aggression (SODA).

YOUTH MENTORING

This volunteer will be requested to assist in the following matters:

• Must be able to comply with the requirements of Client Confidentiality Policy of Seamless Connections.
• Must be able to submit appropriate background screening requirements.
• Assist with Seamless Connections’ Invisible Backpack group youth support groups and initiatives.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

This volunteer will be requested to assist in the following matters:

• Must be able to comply with the requirements of Client Confidentiality Policy of Seamless Connections.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and monitoring for Seamless Connections’ internet-based and social media platforms.
